AP - Anytown, USA. A random act of kindness was witnessed today in Suburbia. After being given permission to attend a movie matinee with a friend Lauren, a local teenager, invited her little brother, Caleb. This act of kindness was witnessed by the children's mother. After being scrapped up off the floor, mom thought Lauren might be ill or body snatched. At this time no fever or strange rashes have developed and no pods have been located. It is simply an unsolicited, uncoerced act of kindness.
Breaking news. A flying pig was spotted near Anytown. We will bring you more details as they become available.

On Road Again
Two weeks ago we loaded everyone, our bikes and Caleb's new hitchhiker and headed for the bike trail. Lauren thought we should set a goal for our first ride. So she did. Fifteen miles!! We made it! By the time we got back to the van everyone was starving. I packed snacks but didn't take them with us, I really wasn't planning on 15 miles for our first time out. I took water bottles and sun screen in my bike bag.
Today we went out for our second ride. This time I planned better, we took the snacks with our water bottles and sun screen. We only went 13.1 miles and had a picnic lunch in the van when we finished. Just in case you were wondering, yes, Caleb does talk the entire way.
